Staff Meeting

Just because one is called to a staff meeting doesn't mean there's trouble. 

Sometimes the boss just wants to see what you're wearing:-)  My boss was quite pleased with my outfit today and wondered aloud if she should go shopping with me sometime.  When I told her I get many of my clothing items at a thrift shop she was even more intrigued.  So next week we have a date to meet at the thrift shop for some serious lessons in saving a dime.

Remixing

 Can't believe how red my hair looks.  Not my original color.  My hair is normally dark brown and highlights throughout the season in dark auburn streaks.

Yes, I've been remixing all along. But now, I'm really gonna start remixing my closet.  I think I've managed to wear just about everything I own that is lightweight.  Fall and winter will bring more cold weather clothes into the mix.  Its getting pretty hot here, but as the weather cools you'll see me wearing jackets and cardigans more and more.  Regardless of the weight of the fabric, I'm running out of one of a kind outfits and the real challenge is beginning.  As I go through the rest of my closet I keep finding more and more combinations that might work.  I love having ideas before I get up in the morning.  It helps to have a plan A and plan B when getting dressed for the day.  It speeds up the process of getting out the door.  You've seen this dress before, paired with a lightweight cardigan.  I could have paired this with a jean jacket, but I wanted to wear these wedges today and the jean jacket would have been better paired with flats or sandals.  I threw on a light colored blazer and I was out the door in record time this morning.  Dress-Target clearance, Blazer-NY&Co, Wedges-ON, necklace-DIY by me, Earrings and watch-Target.
