In fact, my American Legion Riders nickname is "RED."
My motorcycle is red.
My car is red.
I own a red blazer.
My hair is still a little bit red.
My skirt is red.
And my jeans are red.
I have no idea how or when I became so enamored with the color. As you can see though, I have a lot of it. When Old Navy came out with their Rock Star skinnies in red I was afraid; very afraid to be drawn to this shade of red. It's more of an orange red; that color scares me. Because it is so bright, I didn't want to wear it, nor did I think I could wear it. After trying it I decided it's not so bad. The challenge was to find something to pair it with. Yesterday I paired the color with gray and today I found a thrifted lightweight Tommy Hilfiger sweater with orange trim that seems to go well with the knit skirt and Rock Star skinnies. I also have a pair of denim shorts in red that would be great for running errands. And on a day like today, overcast and cloudy, the sweater fits right in.
